William E. Miller
William E. Miller was a native of New Haven. He was 21 years old when he enlisted in December of 1863, in Company E, 29th Regiment Connecticut Colored Infantry. He was wounded in the thigh on October 27, 1864 on a skirmish line near Kell House. He was mustered out on October 24, 1865, in Brownsville, Texas. Despite being credited to Washington, CT, there is no evidence that he was ever in Washington.
