Remus T. Ford
Remus T. Ford was born on September 3, 1863 to Polly Ann and John Mansfield Ford. He married Helen Sacket.
He enlisted for 9 months of service with Co. D of the 28th Reg. CT Volunteers. His regiment fought at Port Hudson, LA. The regiment was discharged on August 28, 1863, but Remus contracted a fever and died on September 3, 1863.
