Peter Johnson

Peter Johnson was born in Honolulu, and lived for a time in California. He enlisted on April 18, 1864, at the age of 25 in the 29th Regiment Connecticut Colored Infantry. He died on January 9,
1865 of gastritis. He had been in the hospital at Bermuda 100 since December 20, 1864. Despite being credited to Washington, CT, there is no evidence that he was ever in Washington.
