Alfred Hatch
Alfred Hatch was born in 1842 to Maria and Joseph Hatch.
He enlisted on September 5, 1861 at the age of 19. He served as a Corporal in Company A 7th infantry Regiment Connecticut Volunteers. He was wounded on June 16, 1862 in James Island, South Carolina. He was promoted on May 14, 1864 to Full Sergeant. He was wounded a second time on August 16, 1864 at the Second Battle of Deep Bottom Run, Virginia.
Alfred died from his wounds on September 5, 1864.
